The First Newsletter

Everyone who signs up will receive a first email with information on publication, launch dates, and how and where to buy my book. I’ll also share a little bit about where my idea for this book came from, and the process of turning my “story” into a published novel.
In Subsequent Letters . . .
Teen, young adult, and “old” readers (no offense): You will receive challenges, character back stories, and news about upcoming events. You’ll also be taught methods for identifying your own unique talents and abilities, strategies for improving them, and reasons for sharing them in fun and fulfilling ways.
Book club members: You will receive chapter-by-chapter discussion prompts to use at your book club. You will also be invited to submit your own discussion topics to share with other groups, as well as ask my opinion on book topics or characters.
Teachers: You will receive a free, printable packet I’ve created to facilitate class discussions about each chapter. You will also be directed how and where to obtain vocabulary support, writing prompts, and listening exercises appropriate for your students’ reading levels, including support for English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes,
Parents, advocates, and youth leaders: You will receive free, helpful tips on using my book as a springboard for opening up a dialogue about the challenges Lucy faces. This can be a safe and effective way to help you and the young people you care about share thoughts and feelings on issues that are often uncomfortable to bring up. For those working with at-risk youths, you will receive free information about where to go for professional guidance and counseling.
